How to install Mandy
This guide assumes that you know what a command-line is and that you know how to use command-line tools. You will need the following command-line tools to be available as commands:
-
cargo: Mandy is written in Rust. Cargo is Rust's official package manager. Rust can be installed via RustUp, which can be found here. RustUp will not only install the Rust compiler, but also Cargo, Rust's package manager. -
git: Mandy uses Git to handle version control of its source code. You will need Git to be available from the command-line to install Mandy from its sources via Cargo. Git can be installed by visiting this link here.
After both of these tools have been installed correctly, Mandy can be installed by running this command: cargo install --git https://github.com/alyxshang/mandy --branch v.0.1.0
